Repainted into Chatham & District Traction Company colours for its appearance at the High Floor Buses Farewell held in Gillingham on Saturday 31st December 2016, Nu-Venture 744 T744 JPO makes a splendid sight as it pulls away from a stop on Watling Street, Strood whilst working route 172. Thursday 5th January 2017.

Nu-Venture have for many years supported the Friends of Chatham Traction who are restoring the only surviving vehicle owned by Chatham & District in existence (Bristol K - GKE 68). This is now the fourth vehicle painted in the historic colour scheme by the company the others being Leyland Titan B97 WUV, Scania K867 LMK and Volvo Olympian R309 WVR which also carried 3558 RU).
