With news filtering through that from Monday 8th January 2018 operation of routes 228 and 229 (Tunbridge Wells - Crowborough) will pass from Seaford & District to Compass Bus I desperately hoped for a positive forecast to photograph two of the best looking Enviro 200s in the country.
On the penultimate day of operation Seaford & District 402 YX09 FNJ is seen on Stones Cross Road, Alderbrook whilst working route 228. Friday 5th January 2018.

On the final day of operation Seaford & District 402 YX09 FNJ is seen on Montargis Way between Jarvis Brook and Crowborough whilst working route 228 (actually route 229!). Saturday 6th January 2018.

On the final day of operation Seaford & District 402 YX09 FNJ is seen at The Broadway, Crowborough about to work route 229 back to Tunbridge Wells but not before visiting Alderbrook, Jarvis Brook and Crowborough once more! Saturday 6th January 2018.
