This aircraft was never from the USA, she is a Chinese built MD-82, built by the Shanghai Aviation Industrial Corporation (SAIC). She was operated by China Eastern from 1990 to 2007. In 2007 she was retired and ferried to Marana, via Hawaii for storage. In 2011 she was painted for Venezolana as N511JZ... yes, an airline in Venezuela. (Not sure if she was ever delivered to Venezolana.
