I thought this was a Great Grey Shrike rather than a Southern Grey Shrike because of the lack of pink on it's breast but have now found out it's a sub-species called a Desert Grey Shrike(lanius meridionalis koenigii) and you can sort of see the beak is rather large compared to the Great Grey Shrike I have photos of

On our tour around Morocco we stopped to photograph little swifts when this stunning male House Bunting popped up in front of us, rude not to take a pic

We saw a lot of White-crowned Wheatears on our tour but always struggled to get close to them until this one popped up on a twig right next to the Woodchat shrike and posed for a couple of photos before flying off
