Back from an awesome trip to Iceland with Dave Collins and Phil Gower I was extremely lucky to get this pic with no bushes or grass to hide behind it was a case of hide behind the camera and the leafy lens cover to slowly shuffle my feet towards it what a stunner!!!!

This Short-eared Owl was fighting with a Raven as we were driving along the track to Floi nature reserve,it decided to rest on a post allowing us to drive slowly up to it and get some quick pics before it flew off
