While visiting the park, I happened to meet Colonel Franklin. He had come to work on another aircraft, but he took the time to talk with me about his career and flying the Libyan raid in 1986. That plane is in the Museum of the USAF in Dayton, OH, but the one behind him is painted to represent that plane.
