For better or worse, I decided to live way off campus while attending Case Western Reserve University. I selected the Watergate Apartments (now The Vista Apartments). I had a inside 1-BR studio nominally facing the land but with a good view of Lake Erie. While the apartment number was 1460, it was actually on the 13th floor.
Many good memories. Much of what I lived there is gone now, but they have new things to take their places.

This was likely January or February 1985 and was taken in the early afternoon. I would have just moved in.
Eastern Euclid is in the foreground. A small portion of Wickliffe is likely on the far left, but most of the view in the distance is Willoughby and Willoghby Hills.

Lake Erie at the back of the Watergate Apartments. For some reason, I never went out on the back deck much. :( Most of the time I was on my balcony.

This is the doorway, one of the closets, and an eating area. My books are on the tight. I still have the pictures on the wall but am likely to contribute them to a charity auction this year.
You can also see the old sleeper sofa that I still have because I am too lazy to haul it downstairs.
Have fun laughing at a 1985 apartment living room!
Anyone else remember the BSR speakers with 15" woofers? Still sorry mine died a dew years back.
There was a sliding glass door behind the curtain that led out tot he balcony and the views I posted earlier.
On the far right is my 15" (?) CRT TV sitting on top of the entertainment center. My vinyl records were stored beneath it. Even them, I had the entire storage area filled. The turntable and record cleaner can be seen between the TV and the right speaker. I was an early adopter of CDs for a good reason!
The yellow thing in the bottom left corner is my bean bag chair.
