SouthEastern 'Electrostar' EMU, 375 806, calls at Battle with the 1415 Charing Cross - Hastings all stations service. I notice that these train do not carry the Southern 'route codes' anymore, I always thought that these were a good idea, especially when they were shown in the public timetables.

...and time for this Ashford Int. to Brighton train to call at Rye. The weather had taken a sharp change from sunny to showery. I'd hot-footed it from the car just in time to get this 'grab shot'.
Just think, ten years ago this would have been a 'Thumper'. Sigh!
