By E S Boyer & Partners, 1970-3. Brutalist office block. Long, narrow, 6-storey and basement. Predominantly brown brick construction with exposed concrete platform to ground at base of stair tower. On base of tower is crest with motto “FINIS CORONAT OPUS” meaning "the end crowns the work". Stair tower has contrasting vertical windows to the ribbon windows elsewhere.

For Customs & Excise and Inland Revenue. E S Boyer & Partners was a London practice with a branch office in Glasgow.
