This was my first time capturing the sunset colors of San Francisco from such a very far distant vantage point. The drive took over 50 minutes from the city (luckily no traffic!).
The view was absolutely stunning, especially with the Embarcadero Center lights turned on in the distance.
I loved how the layers of the foreground blended seamlessly into the iconic San Francisco skyline. I was able to capture the bridges and city landmarks all in one frame, but no coit tower!
The real challenge came with the unpredictable weather conditions and stabilizing the long lens steady for the long exposure shot. But I got lucky with this shot, and I’m happy with how it turned out!
