I suppose this is the major flaw with faux leather, it does have a limited life span.
Time to buy a new pair of leather shorts, either real or faux.

I got new pair of boots and decided to wear them with my faux leather shorts.
Now these shorts are quite old and were 'lost' in the attic for quite a while but I found them recently while searching for something else.
I had no idea the damage was so bad until I saw a piece of 'stuff' on the floor beneath where I was posing on the counter.
