They cut the grass in the park today, and it looked so inviting I had to lay down for a close up view.

Having a lovely 4th of July holiday weekend! Saw some great fireworks last night, courtesy of one of the chi-chi beach clubs (we watched from the park overlooking the beach-great view).

Spent today at the beach but did not take many photos...was in the water most of the time. Missed out on some great photo ops-saw lots of dolphins and sailboats. Also saw a black helicopter fly low over the shore, a chain ladder was lowered, and a soldier climbed out down the ladder, waved to everyone, then they flew away! (They were promoting the new "GI JOE" movie!)

Got a few shots of our beach umbrella before the wind picked it up and blew it across the sand, luckily missing the other sunbathers!.
