My nephew is showing an interest in photography, so I try to encourage him at every opportunity. Our trip to Yosemite was the perfect excuse for more photography lessons.

I spent all day Saturday on the couch, recovering from the flu and enjoying a "Cats 101" marathon on TV. Sadly, I cat-napped during the segment on my favorite breed, the Siamese. Many years ago I adopted two siamese-mix stray kittens, who were the sweetest, most affectionate little dears. I haven't owned cats in years, due to hubby's allergies. Lately, though, his allerges seem to have subsided, so I have hope that some day we'll be proud kitty parents.
