October 10, 2009 (Saturday)- This was one of the last tuk-truk rides back to the house from Minuwangoda town. It takes only about five minutes.
Since the fall of 2003, the daily focus of my eJournal and images blog has been on text. Later in July 2005, because of Flickr, I've been able create something which emphasizes a daily image or video clip. I'll shoot and add one each day. Doing so will remind me to constantly carry a camera and it'll be a more direct record of current, personal experiences.

September 23, 2009 - We awoke in Trincomalee and first headed to the a famous Hindu Temple with a good view of Trinco harbour. We visited Hot Springs before heading back home.

September 22, 2009 - We ended the day in Polannaruwa. We had seen the ancient ruins before and as they were charging $25 for me to see the UNESCO site, Jay and I simply walked across the road to enjoy the ancient lake created for agricultural purposes.
