This is an older modular origami model by Aldo Marcell, called "Noria Star".
Someone showed me these units years ago and I re-folded them once more and take a photo this time ;-)). It's an easy model to fold.
Yesterday I presented
"ME", which is one unit ;-)
You see two versions: the silver one is made of 8 units and the golden one is made of 10 units.
Both stars are folded from rectangles 1:2.
I used shiny foil-paper(6x12cm).
This origami "Noria Star-unit" is based on the modular origami star-unit from Mette Pederson and Ernesto Del Rio Jiménez.
