Once in your 'folding life', you have to go for block folding ;-)). This origami cobra is created for an origami-exhibition. It counts about 1200 elements, made of copy paper.

Looking for a present in my collection folded models, I found these two origami swans again. And I remembered that a while back I already had taken a picture of this elegant model.

Folded from handmade paper, square 20 cm.

Origami Ice Flower

In Peter Keller's just rombi origami tessellation tutorial this is a step, where I like the shape of the half shaped rhombi too ;-)) It reminded me of a flower, so I folded until here and made an edge with the paper (white glassine) that was left over. You do have to precrease the triangels on the backsite before shaping the rhombi, otherwise they get squashed!
