A little version of "Woven rings" by Joel Cooper. I don't have the right paper (yet) to make a bigger one.
Big thanks to Monika Hanková, who reverse-engineered this lovely model and showed us the backside. So now I could figure it out how to fold it.
This paper is too thick and I had to flatten the hexagon and the triangles.
The frontside is very nice but I also like the backside, when it is backlit. Here you can see different views of the backside.

Hexagon out of A4, grid 1:28. Final size about 9 cm.

Preparing an other tessellation and suddenly I saw eyes, so I used the exciting creases trying to make an origami face.
Now I have taken a photo, I will unfold the face and continu to make the new tessellation ;-)

This is the 3D-version of my "Molecule-blocks-tessellation". Due to the autumn season, I got inspired and changed the colors.

I could stop myself playing with the colors, so I made also a collection with different colors of this "Molecule-blocks-tessellation".

My latest tessellation design in my Blocks-tessellation serie and I call this one "Little Blocks". You can see the 3 different phases, either follow the yellow or the blue path, starting on the left.

Folded from 15x15cm, kind of rice paper (very, very tin), grid 1:24
Discovered this pattern independently.
