During the last renovations in and around the house, I folded many elements. They are not difficult to fold and you can put them down and pick them up again at any time.
Last week I put them together and of course took pictures. I took the photos all from the same distance and angle, so that the final size is also visible that way.
Here is an overview of the models that are possible with the element "Diamond Bridge 90".
In the first horizontal row the model that arises with 6 units. I find this one the most interesting, because it has so many different "faces".
In the second row twice the 12units and the 30units version.
They are all connected in the same way.

Paper size one unit 7,5x15cm.
Final size:
6 units: diameter 9cm
12 units: diameter 11cm
30 units: diameter 14cm

Model: origami "Diamond Bridge 90"
Design: Miyuki Kawamura

Little "talking heads" discussing whether they should sing or shout out loud: Happy Weekend everyone!!!
They are standing on a mirror, so the refection of their mouth is visible and now they can do two actions at the same time. So...no doubt anymore ;-))

Perhaps you remember Dualo, an origami modular-model by Miyuki Kawamura, I folded recently. This is a different view of the little ones, each made from 6 modules.

Each module is folded from 7,5x7,5 cm, duo-colered paper.

Diagrams can be found in the Tanteidan 16th Convention Book

An other intriguing origami design by Miyuki Kawamura called "Star Orb" (2013).
I used kamipaper with a color design and I like the effect. In an earlier assembling phase I showed you the owl.

This Star Orb has also residents and I was lucky to meet one of them and even got permission to make a portrait ;-)

Folded from 30 modules, 7,5x7,5 cm.

This 'Star Cruller' is very much related to the 'Twinkle Cruller' (see first comment box), just a few creases are different.
On the left you see the 5 unit version and on the right a variation with 7 units. As mentioned before the more units assembled, the more the model looks like a star . I like a 7 pointed star ;-))

Have a nice Thursday

Paper:
Both stars are folded from a square piece of double side colored Freudenberg paper 11,5x11,5cm.
Final size:
- 5unit Star: diameter 12xm, height 2cm
- 7unit Star: diameter 14cm, height 0,5cm

Model : Origami 'Star Cruller' and variation
Design: Miyuki Kawamura
