For you, dear friends, this lovely origami Rose. Keep up the good spirit and stay safe and healthy!!
You could easily make a brooch from it ;-))
""Have you heard the story of the rose
that blooms in the night?
Without the sun’s presence
she grew from her own light
She did not yearn for
his warmth on her petals
For she knew she held the power
to radiate light from within
Though she had strong thorns
her heart was always open
For those with an open heart
can never be broken.""

"There is simply the rose; it is perfect in every moment of its existence."
Quote - Ralph Waldo Emerson
I recently found the diagrams of this lovely origami Rose-Box. Always a joy to give it away as a gift, no matter what occasion. So I folded three versions with different paper and size, they look the same and yet also different. It's great to have a big choice of different kind of paper to fold with, but sometimes it is also hard to choose.

I wanted to show you what a difference it makes, if you use a different division of the same size of paper and still using the same folding sequence, like these two origami rose boxes, both designed by Shin Han-Gyo.
On the left the paper is divided in 144 equal squares (grid 1:12) and the right one, (perhaps you recognize it from yesterday ;-)), in 64 squares (grid 1:8). The result is that you get two different lids with the same rose ;-)
The boxes are also different. The left box is divided in fourth, which makes a lower one and the right one in third for the higher box.

I folded this model called 'Ring of Rose" with a rectangle double-colored foil paper 1:2, gold/silver. So with just one square sheet you can fold two rings ;-)
Instead of folding small, so they would fit around a finger, I use a larger size, 12x24cm to create a napkin/serviette ring. Final size 6cm.
It is funny how the mind works and immediatly associates these colors to Xmas ;-)
Happy Crazy Tuesday !!
PS: it is the same origami rose used for the Rose-box

A last variation of the Origami Rose Box, this time with a grid -division 1:16. This gives more possibilities, after the rose is folded, to fold the paper differently and you create a different box.
Here you can see the Rose Box (12 and 8 section) .
