''Sttt, be quiet….I think it is still asleep….sttttt" ;-))
Steven Casey was inspired by John Richardson's hedgehog, that I folded earlier (see first comment box). This model (folded by me), is his first version of an origami Echidna or Spiny Anteater.
If you are interested, I made a photo-collage of the sequence of some of the in-between-steps, while I was folding.
Steven Casey has also created a second, more developed version. I will show you, when I finished folding it ;-))
I will be off for a few days. Take care, stay safe and healthy!!

I show you the progression of the Origami Spiny Anteater by Steven Casey (made these photos while I was folding this model.) He was inspired by John Richardson's hedgehog.
It is interesting to see, and to fold of course ;-)), how he treads the layers/pleats differently.
Here you see the "in-between-step" of John Richardson's hedgehog, which shows similarity with photo 1.
Photo 2: the big and different change.
Photo 3 is just before the final shaping. Photo 4 is other side of photo 3.

You still recognize that this origami 'Face' is a face, although there is no mouth. (left face)
I did a color change (right face) and the face changes again.
Folded from 7,5x7,5cm, double colored kami paper.

I did a color change and a few little variations with the eyes and the hair and the face changes again.
This almost looks like the game "look for the differences" ;-))
