It is an older model from 1970, but still worthwhile folding and showing. It also can stand by itself !
I used a 15x15cm red kami paper.

This is a very easy Santa model to fold. It can stand as a table decoration or be used as a bookmark.
I folded a little 'family', starting with a paper 7,5x15cm for Santa standing in the middle. Then I halved the size of the paper to create the one on the right. And once more to make the little one on the left.
Final sizes from left to right: height 1,75cm, 3,5cm and 7cm.

I found this abstract origami 'Father Christmas' (head) in an old BOS magazine #37. It's an old design by Philip Blencowe (1972).
I like it because it has just a few folds and because this Santa has a red nose.
It is not easy being a Santa , I guess, hanging out there in space looking at the madness on planet earth ;-))
