I used a black patterned handmade paper (21x21cm) for folding this origami 'halloween' bat. At the place where the eyes and mouth would be, I pasted a small piece of red paper on the back, so that the eyes and mouth would become red instead of black.
Final size: length 12cm, height 8cm
