"What's the matter?"
"Oh, …feeling a bit sad….."
"Why?"
"Marjan is leaving us….."
"Ha, ha…... cheer up! It's just for this weekend ;-))"
"REALLY….?"
"Yip, she will be back before you know it and asked us to be the caretakers of her gallery for the time being!"
Wishing you aal a wonderful weekend, dear friends ;-))
See you soon and more dragons will follow as soon as I have folded them.
I show you two dragons from the same designer, Ryosuke Sakura or SakuB. The one on the right was his first dragon. His accompanying text:
~~Since her wings were small compared to her body, I thought it was a dragon that was still growing, so I named it 'Baby Dragon'. Considering the size of her face, she doesn't feel like a baby, so I think a different name would have been better.~~
About the the left one, called 'Heavy Dragon' he says:
"In the previous work, 'Baby Dragon', I was concerned about the small wings. When I tried to improve it for this book, I was able to easily make the wings bigger than expected."
I enjoyed folding them both to discover the differences in folding. ;-))
I used the same size of paper, 30x30cm, one sheet of hand-painted paper for each of them, so you can see the difference in size.
Final size:
- Baby Dragon: length 13cm, height 10cm, width 2cm
- Heavy Dragon: length 10,5cm, height 11cm, width 2cm

"Ho, ho, ho…..how are you? Do hope you are enjoying your preparations for Xmas, despite all restrictions due to the virus. Here in origami-land we also have to stay home…, so I decided to create some new designs for wrapping paper ;-)).
Take care, stay safe and we will see each other next year!", says this hardworking Santa.
I folded it from a 15x15cm red kamipaper. Final size: 10,5cm.
