*i think. it was late and i don't remember. it may be an albino burmese python but i noticed its eyes are dark, so i wonder if it's actually albino? anybody know for sure?

at the "snakes alive" exhibit at the iowa state fair. this guy was huge. probably one of the biggest snakes i've ever seen. i bet his girth was close to that of my leg.

hundreds of birds appeared in the oakland cemetery when i got home from work, so i ran over with my camera. i wish i could have recorded the sound they made. it was overwhelming.
