I attended another car show today. It was a much smaller scale than the previous ones I've seen. It was still a lot of fun, took lots of photos to post later.

My latest diorama inspired by the many car shows I have actually attended this summer. All the models are 1:24 scale and are from Danbury Mint, Franklin Mint and Westcoast Precision Diecast.

When I posted these photos on another site, I included a little story to go along with them. Here it is...

I attended another car show today.
It was on a smaller scale than previous ones I attended this summer. It took place in a small town not far from my house, real close actually.
A friend invited me to attend. I had a good time and took a lot of photos. I was even given the opportunity to have some one-on-one time with some of the cars as well.
Good shots too. There were 20 cars in attendance, and the retired farmer who held the show had three of them himself. Although, because of room, didn't have two of them displayed.
Since this was in a very small town and the only new car dealership they have is Merritt Chevrolet, a good portion of the cars were Chevrolets. With that, there was still a
beautiful Buick and Cadillac, a couple of Fords and a nice old Mopar.
I was told that a '56 Chrysler 300 was supposed to be there too, but the farmer told me
the owner was put off last year by comments that his car was less than accurate and didn't
compare with the Desoto that was also there last year. It was a no show as well.
No matter, I had a great time. Met some good people, fantastic weather, great photos too.
Here are a few for now, I will post more as I finish them.
I am really hoping the one-on-one shots all turned out.
