Detail of new Peugeot 909 HY hybrid race car. It was being wheeled thru the pits at Silverstone at the Le Mans Series event. The car was surrounded by people (you can see their reflections in the shot). The car did some demo laps which I didn't see - check out Jake Yorath's photostream - he got the first shots.

I'm trying to break habits and do things differently. This is probably the first photo I've ever reduced sharpness at the main focal point (by adding blur). Also softened the color to look more 1950s color effect.
