One in a series shot outside my window over a two-week period as the Magnolia Trees along Boston's Commonwealth Avenue began to pop. It was quite breezy most of the days I took these, which made it hard to get good, crisp shots. The movement of of these buds in the breeze enhanced this shot, however, giving it a soft, painted look.
