The legendary
Marley Marl (Juice Crew: Big Daddy Kane, the mighty
Biz Markie, etc) accepting the Milestones Award in September 2006 at at
Berklee, the first school to fully embrace the turntable as a musical instrument (in 1994). The
Milestones Tribute honored many of the living legends who developed or shaped hip hop in the early days and golden era. DMC and Jam Master Jay's family were on hand to honor the late Jam Master Jay of RUN-DMC. Quite an evening. I was lucky to get a press pass to the cover the event.
