After the
Whale Watch last weekend, I spent the balance of the afternoon at the
New England Aquarium. The Aquarium sports a four story high, 200,000 gallon, coral reef
Giant Ocean Tank, and many other small tank exhibits.
This is Myrtle the Turtle, a
Green Sea Turtle (not to be confused with
Yertle the Turtle). This was shot from above the tank and the nearby lights gave Myrtle this cool, phosphorescent look (no significant post-processing). Myrtle has lived in the giant ocean tank since 1970. She likes Brussels Sprouts. p.s. I agree with
