Fire Island National Seashore, ocean side of Fair Harbor, Fire Island during the stormy aftermath of a torrential Nor'easter the day before (didn't have best weather this trip). The wall of sand was the result of the loss of several yards of sand that had gently sloped down the beach, but was lost to eroision during the storm.
