The Falls are over a mile wide and are simply spectacular.
Over the millennia, the river Zambesi has eroded weaknesses in the rock formation to form the gorge into which the river flows. Previous sites of the falls can be seen in the picture above.
The centre of the bridge in the picture is half-way between the Zambian and Zimbabwe customs posts. It's possible to go bungee jumping from the bridge if you're so inclined ......
