It was always worth a check in the Blackpool Transport yard, as that as often home to visiting coaches from fellow municipals, and other public operators. This time, it was a rather nice Van Hool-bodied Tiger with Ulsterbus, one of a batch of five which came in 1989 from Smiths Shearings, Wigan, this one having been A161 MNE.

Withdrawn at the end of 1999, it returned to the mainland in early 2000, and gave another 10 years of service to various small operators around Kent and Sussex.

And that's it for Blackpool, or this visit at least. I will try and find something else to scan and show shortly.
