Williams County
North Dakota

This unique school may not stay much longer due to the oil invasion. Admittedly I cloned out a freshly set up oil rigging station behind the school. It just ruined the scenery. Not the best country to explore anymore. These remote dirt roads with no houses with people have become VERY busy roads with a lot of heavy equipment making the roads rough. Probably every dirt road has traffic. Small "towns" of oilmen's campers dot the landscape now. A real old west feeling to it. Like a gold rush. Nearby Williston was a very interesting city. An epicenter for the oil boom. Walmart was like an outpost with interesting people gathering needed supplies. Men that you would not normally see pushing shopping carts waiting in line with supplies overflowing. Cars were an oddity in this city. Not even a place to look for an artsy job. I wondered if there were even many children that lived here.
