The Guardian - An ink drawing of a dawn redwood, from a photo by Paul Olson. This was an experimental process, after the initial sketch, I did a series of ink washes and coated the with matt acrylic gel mixed with gesso. I then sanded it smooth with 400 grit paper which makes a great surface to use dip pens on. A fun day but I will try new things next time. 5x8 inches, ink on paper
