Fluidr / Belted kingfisher by Eric Gofreed

A male Belted Kingfisher lands at Bubbling Ponds Fish Hatchery, where his rare presence is a true treat. These guys are shy and difficult to approach. Fortunately, his distinctive call alerted me to his whereabouts and I was able to capture his landing approach.
