Taken last week @ Certer Parcs Sherwood forest on a grey day. They are always around there & looking for food from the visitors. Only a few feet away in contrast to the Shrike photo that seemed over 100 yards away

The female on the post is being harassed by a juvenile for a feed, looks as if being told find your own meal. Both photos @ full zoom about 100 yards away @ 7.47pm 20th june 2016 -- EDIT I am told by an expert these are both juveniles just @ different stages of plumage development with the one on post having the full black head

100's of these on the Ythan estuary Aberdeenshire but not the one I wanted! Was hoping to see the single King Eider male who has resided here in breeding season for past few years. Last year I was a month to early, this year he appeared early the disappeared. Arrived again I gather 10 days after I was there!
