Serinus canaria, the Atlantic Canary that I believe the bright yellow common cage birds were originally bred from. Taken @ Maspalomas lagoon Grand Canary island on 12 April 18.
I am just back from a longer cruise than usual & will try to catch up with everyone as soon as I can

My favourite sub-tropical flowering tree. I am lucky enough to see them flowering in many places around the world. they originate from Brazil & flower in springtime, consequently that means Sept/Oct/Nov in Southern hemisphere. This was in Puerto Mogan on Grand Canary.

Have to check up on this one, but I think it is a Spanish sparrow. taken @ Punta Delgarda in the Azores.
Having checked this out it seems to be the common house sparrow (passer domesticus) not the Spanish one that has a brown cap
