Just a short video of a female Mallard done in July as an experiment to see how it came out. thought I would upload it to brighten a dull day here, when I saw not much on an early morning visit to beach. the tide was at least half a metre lower than predicted & birds stayed on the still exposed mud

when clearing a neglected part of garden yesterday I found this clay pot stand. I cleaned it out & put it down with a bit of water in by the bird feeders. Seems to be appreciated. Ignore sound, doors & windows were open with TV & radio on

Tide is moving these Oyestercatcher's along fast on 13th @ Snettisham. On the really high tides, it moves quite fast just over an hour before high tide as the mud is very flat just before it gets to the marsh.

Taken in the late evening sunshine @ 9 minutes past 8 on Friday evening. It had been such a poor week weathervise that I was tempted to go out after our evening meal as the sun had come out, most unusual for me. Worth it i thought even though most birds had started to roost, I had the reserve almost to myself

A group of 60-70 Black-tailed Godwits were having a feeding frenzy in front of Parinder hide @ Titchwell this morning. They seemed to be finding lots of food every few seconds, have never seen them so animated. This one still has a lot of summer plumage left on
