Had a walk round the gdn this afternoon. A few hoverflies about & some very hairy Bees on my Michaelmas daisys. Think the Bees are probably one of the Andrena speies.

Dull Drizzel day & car was in for MOT so did not go out. A couple of wildflower shots to brighten up the evening.
Yellow Flag Iris with a collection of insects. a very tatty Green Hairstreak butterfly, a fly & a weevil i think

Good to see several insects on the wild Parsnip @ Holme NWT yesterday. They do love it. not such good detail but looks like lots of aphid larvae on the stems
