It was a few days ago when I walked with my faithful companion Roco through the forests in our area. As always, we both enjoyed nature and silence. I need it so much in these days and my friend is doing my soul so well, because he feels exactly how I am. We understand each other through gestures and eye contacts. I see so much in his eyes and he probably much more.
(Did you know that during the big tsunami catastrophe, the animals spied long before the humans, that something bad will come and therefore they were safe early on.)

Animals understand and feel more than we can imagine. This is my opinion.
Whenever I'm not feeling well, Roco handles things in a different way than when he realizes that I'm happy. I need him and he needs me. That's how it is.
I dedicate this photo to him here and his loyalty and his affection to all of us in the family. We love you Roco !!!

To the picture:
A few weeks ago a strong storm swept through our country. The many branches on the ground are the result of it. Many trees fell over or were torn apart. The forests are full of the destruction of this strong storm. Roco picked a beautiful place from where he could keep an overview. A very attentive dog and good protector !!!

I would like to say THANK YOU with this photo, to all my family members, my faithful companion Roco and all my dear friends here, for all the encouraging and lovely wishes that I have received in the last days. It touched my heart deeply and gave me new hope and strength. For me, the solidarity and compassion of my dear wife and all my children was especially beautiful. Tears of joy kept coming back into my eyes. I am infinitely grateful for all this and now look forward to what is still to come. I send all my dear friends a heartfelt "THANK YOU". And I'm so thankful that I can celebrate today my birhtday with all my heart. Life is a gift from heaven.

P.S: This is a wonderful place in nature close to my home. It is in the middle of a big forest and through this a river is flowing naturally and on one place there is a beautiful waterfall. The water there is so clear and colorful. A little green paradise we found there.

Is there anything better than enjoying the beauty of nature with your most loyal friend? We went on a trip to a large and mysterious forest together. The place wasn't very far from our home. It was a fantastically beautiful day with golden sunlight that flowed through the forest like a dream. We both enjoyed the silence for a while, the scent of wood and the warming sun. Roco suddenly heard something. He was very focused on that noise. I'm not quite sure what it really was, but he was very attentive as he always is. I love to watch him with all his senses - which are far better than ours in many ways - how he perceives a lot and lets me know that something happened. I feel so safe by his side. He is my guardian and would never let me down. NEVER !!!
(Unfortunately, too often in my life I have been let down by people.)

Dedicated to Roco, my loyal companion through all the years in which we have become ever closer friends. Now you've gotten older and your joints are starting to hurt. We both got older, because from time to time I also have pain when I move. Unfortunately, that's part of getting older and we're both trying to make the best out of it. I will always be by your side.

The nice thing about spring is that it always comes when you need it most.

With a short wag of its tail, a dog can express more emotion than some human being with hours of chatter.

The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.

Our faithful friend Roco managed to cross the rainbow bridge well and has now arrived at home where he will find his peace. Thank you Mom for accompanying Roco on his last journey. It hurts my heart so much that our dearest dog can no longer be with us. I will miss his happy, loving nature very much. It gives me comfort to know that he is in heaven now and will continue to take good care of our family as he has done all his life. Thank you all for giving your love at Roco.
