Galileo satellite 23 – otherwise known as Full Operational Configuration satellite 19 – being lowered next to its fellow Galileo satellite 24 inside the Satellite Preparation Building of Europe's Spaceport. The satellite pair arrived in French Guiana on 4 May 2018. The red-tagged items on the end of the satellite are Galileo's thrusters for attitude and orbit adjustment.

Removing Galileo satellites 23 and 24 from their protective containers after their arrival in Europe's Spaceport, French Guiana on 4 May 2018. The unboxing took place within the cleanroom environment of the Spaceport's Satellite Preparation Building, in preparation for their 25 July launch with two more Galileo satellites by Ariane 5.

Galileo satellites 23-26 were lifted to the top of their Ariane 5 launcher inside the BAF ‘Bâtiment d’Assemblage’ building on Wednesday 11 July, ahead of their Wednesday 25 July 2018 launch.

Two out of four Galileo satellites in the process of being attached to the dispenser that holds them in place during their flight to orbit then releases them into their target orbit, ahead of their 25 July 2018 launch to orbit by Ariane 5. The attachment of the four satellites to their dispenser took place inside the S3B payload preparation building of Europe's Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.
