Singapore Pulau Ubin is a small island, 10.19 km² situated in the north east of Singapore, to the west of Pulau Tekong. Granite quarrying supported a few thousand settlers on Pulau Ubin in the 1960s, but only about a hundred villagers live there today. It is one of the last rural areas to be found in Singapore, with an abundance of natural flora and fauna.

Went to Pulau Ubin with a group of friend again last week. Kind of love this island, not just the Kampong feel that i used to have in my child hood, but also the seafood there, nice and cheap. The dawn is always cool as the surrounding are trees and greens. Make a trip there if you want to get rid of the city life when you are free.
The sun was not up yet while i took this shot. The lights at the background reflected on the sky divide this picture into two colours.
A single long exposure and a mild touch up in PS.

Pulau Ubin is a small island located at the north east of Singapore.
It is the last kampong that still remain active and attracts visitors from local and oversea.
Take a boat from changi village jetty and within ten minutes, you will reach the island.
