they steal our eggs
says the mother hen
with a sigh
morning breakfast
sunny side up,
Japanese omlette or half fry
our chicken roasted
grilled barbecued
you wont deny
our wings chicken lollipop
on drinks as you get high
indignity in death
do or die
man is more cruel
than a somnolent god
washing off his hands
like pontius pilate
in the sky

passes him by
this is muslim man
born to suffer
born to die
a controversial skull cap
terrorized by circumstances
brotherhood and peace
hijacked religiosity
evil men in disguise
at ajmer
a little handful of spirituality
he begs to buy
allah ho akbar
minarets of hate
spewing sectarian violence

shia sunni
do bhichde
hue bhai
ek duniya
chalo milkar rahen
