Stuck into the Medicine Wheel

For booze he will beg borrow steal
Just a drink he could do without a meal

Each one I bought
was mostly on impulse
but there home on my fingers
was no ordinary thing
they held my moods caught
in motionless swing
Turquoise agate dur e najaf

made in pure antique old silver
my cosmic rings
once an Arab accosted me asked
me if I would sell him all my rings
he would give me whatever i ask for
I politely refused him he thought I
was stupid dumb above all things


I may be poor
