As an avid fan of old vehicles from the 1930s, 40s & 50s - I have always considered Diamond T as being a kind of “Royalty” when it came to old trucks.
I spotted this one along Highway 14 just west of Huron, South Dakota. – Since truck styles would commonly be carried over for a period of time I am not sure what the exact year of this Diamond T road tractor would be, but it sure looks like 1950s.
The condition may be a little bit rough, but I think that the right person could get this Jewel of an old Diamond T truck back on the road again.
And how about that neat old Bucyrus Erie drag-line shovel in the background ! – May 2019 ~~ A Jeff Hampton Photograph ©
