CN's Okanagan switcher rests under a pretty starry night just North of station name O'keefe. Recent clear cloudless days in Sothern BC has opened up some opportunities to capture some beautiful night skies, you certainly wont find this view in the city!

As the date draws closer to my favorite time of the year, I found myself looking and re-editing pictures from last years CPKC holiday train. I had the opportunity to ride the train from Ashcroft to Lytton which I gladly took, it also meant I was only able to grab shots starting from Cisco. The Holiday train in South West BC is a little more special as the train runs ACOT (Against Directional running) which opens up some rare shot opportunity's in the Thompson and Fraser Canyons. At the base of the Fraser Canyon just 10 minutes North of Hope at a location known as Choate, the holiday train sits in the hole for a meet with an Eb. Looking back I was very happy I grabbed some shots as the train no longer says 'Canadian Pacific' in the script font on the boxcars. I don't hate the CPKC branding, but the new block lettering CPKC logo on the boxcars is quite distasteful.
