A lone salmon navigates the shallows of Fall Creek in Oregon. The amount of time spent in the water, motionless behind my camera was excruciating. Some people ask why i didn't opt for setting up the camera with remote trigger? I prefer the control of being able to make slight composition adjustments as needed. A millimeter or two shift with wide-angle can make a big difference in what the lens encompasses.
Special thanks to Dr David Noakes and everyone at the Oregon Hatchery Research Center (OHRC). Thanks also to faculty at Oregon State University (Fisheries and Wildlife Department).
