The new setup for 3D photography with front mirrors. Thanks to "linden g" i order the front mirrors. This setup have now a smaller stereo base of 28mm minimum and 50mm max. Mirrors can be adjusted into all directions and also the stereobase. This high quality mirros are excellent for this type photography. The macro lenses AF105/2.8D micro are now perfect inline and can also be moved forward to the mirrors for optimal position. A few test shots seem to work perfect. Next week I will put new waterfigures with this setup. The used front mirrors are 38x51mm 3mm thick.

Technical data:
D300 + D200 Nikon DSLR camera.
Camera space 120mm.
Macro lenses 2 x Nikor AF105/2.8D micro.
Frame real live size : 100mm
F29 diafragma, manual bulb shutter mode.
4 Flashes SB-80-DX TTL controlled by the central hardware controller.
1 DE1 FPGA cyclone II mainboard at 50MHz clock.
Digital waveforms into a flash at high speed PWM, digital powercontrol, frequentie control and type waveform.
2 laser detector systems.
1 magnet current gun for the projectile at 150V 10A 4msec activation 840uF/330V capacity (flash type capacity).
Projectile 4mm x 20mm.

Test setup for 3D photography. The D300 and the D200 cameras side by side, one 180 degree turned. The minimal space between the 2 cameras is now 120mm. The macro lenses are 2x the Nikkor AF105/2.8D-micro. This results into an acceptable 3D stereo picture as macro setup. To synchronize the 2 cameras you need only 3 wires to put into the 10 pin Nikon connector. Meter and shutter signals are then parallel. The flash is connected to the slowest camera. You can push any of the 2 cameras to fire.
The next job is now to make new waterfigures as highspeed pictures in 3D stereo crossview. But I've to cleanup my workroom and connect again the waterfigures controller. Hope to do this before the end of this week.
