A wonderful view of classic SP and assorted freight equipment is on display at SP's Taylor Yard in Los Angeles. SP #3303 was rebuilt in Spring 1970 in the first group of 24 upgraded GP9s. These units were the first in what later became known as the GRIP programs which rebuilt several classes of power to increase their working lives. The slide is dated August 1973.
