It was the biggest turkey I have ever served for Christmas. It just fit in to our owen.

I just love preparing bigger dinners, and this turkey was huge, 7 kg without the stuffing!

Preparing and stuffing a 7 kg turkey is quite some work, but a lot of fun. I really enjoying spending the time in the kitchen, listening to some Christmas carols and drinking plum palinka (schnaps).

Mom and grandma picked the walnuts for the stuffing down in Hungary this autumn.

For the first time in 15 years I dressed up in my chef clothes again. My God, it's been a long time since I have been running a kitchen. And once in a while, I must admit that I really miss it!

Christmas dinner on the other hand, has been my job for more or less the same period of time.
